Return borrowed items on time to avoid late charges.

Outside collection boxes (also called book drop, book return box) are always open at any Clark College Library location, including after hours and during holiday closures. Return building-only items to the indoor Check Out Desk at the same location.

Staff is not available to retrieve items from outside collection boxes on demand.


Current Clark students, staff and faculty can request items from the Clark College Libraries, Summit Libraries, and worldwide libraries via Interlibrary Loan. Orbis Cascade/Summit visitors may request items from Clark College Libraries and Summit. Community borrowers may only request items from Clark College Libraries.

When items arrive, patrons will be notified by e-mail. The official Clark College e-mail address is used for students, staff, and faculty. If community borrowers do not have e-mail, then they will be contacted by telephone or postal mail.


Present your current library card to borrow books and other items. A scannable Clark ID card is acceptable for current students, faculty, and staff. Cards may not be shared.
